The Talon rescue hook knife was designed specifically to fit into compact IFAKs like our LVAK. The Talon features a wider opening; more akin to a free fall hook knife than a rescue knife, two finger holes, and a smaller hole for attaching a lanyard of paracord. The blade opening is larger than most other rescue knives or seat belt cutters making it easier to cut through thicker and tougher materials. The Talon was designed to be an economical rescue blade that doesn't break the bank if lost or in need of replacement, its compact size makes it a great addition to any medical kit, IFAK, or survival kit.
